The ACCEL-RN is an intensive, 15-month program for students who have already earned a baccalaureate degree in another field. The ACCEL-RN program admits only in the summer semester. Applications must be completed, including the personal interview and essay, by April 15th to be considered for admission.
The HESI A2 assessment is required, and results must be submitted to Wilson School of Nursing during the application process as explained below. Scores received after the deadline will not be accepted. Minimum scores for consideration are:80% on Math80% on composite English Language (Reading Comprehension, Vocabulary, and Grammar)The HESI A2 may be taken at MSU or at another testing site. Contact the MSU Testing Service at 940-397-4676 if you wish to schedule an appointment to take the HESI A2 exam at MSU. If you would like to test at another Prometric testing center, you will need to contact that center directly and be prepared to provide them with the Wilson School of Nurisnd Department ID which is 199381.
Documentation for the following requirements must be submitted prior to beginning the ACCEL-RN classes. The requirements will be explained in detail at the mandatory orientation for all students admitted into the program.
