Simulation Center: Policies

Failure to meet the following requirements can result in an infraction.  This is a partial list. The complete list of requirements and policies regarding infractions, which applies to all clinicals, whether at the Simulation Center or other sites, can be found in the MSU BSN Nursing Handbook.

Students must have the necessary supplies for each clinical.

Attendance at clinicals is mandatory. Absences are rescheduled at the discretion of the clinical instructor.

Tardiness is unacceptable. If a student has unusual circumstances that prevent him from arriving on time, he must call the Simulation Center as soon as possible to inform the instructors of the situation.

Pre-clinical assignments must be completed. If not, the student may be requested to leave and/or receive an infraction.

Dress code as listed in the MSU BSN Handbook must be followed.   Maroon scrubs only are allowed, and must fit appropriately and be worn with the MSU patch and proper ID badge. Hair must be pulled back.

Use of cell phones or other electronic devices is not allowed.

Chewing gum is not allowed.
