Not sure of what you want to major in? No worry, Mustangs Rally is a great first look at MSU and a great opportunity for you to get a feel for campus life as a MUSTANG! Mustangs Rally is designed to allow prospective high school students and their parents to meet with faculty within an academic major. MSU Admissions offers daily tours Monday through Friday of our campus at 10:00 a.m. and again at 2:00 p.m. During your daily visit you will meet an MSU Admissions Counselor, tour an academic building, look at our freshmen housing, and our Clark Student Center and Redwine Wellness Center. Our daily tours last approximately 90 minutes and are led by a current MSU student. To schedule a daily visit, please contact the MSU Welcome Center at 940-397-6284 or 800-842-1922.
High School Groups
MSU encourages schools to bring their students to campus for a more in depth look at MSU. High School groups visiting MSU include a 30 minute “College 101” presentation and student led tour of the campus. Our “College 101” session will include information about applying to college, understanding financial aid, and campus life. If schools/groups would like they may eat lunch in our Mesquite Dining Hall for a small fee.
Middle School/Junior High Groups
MSU offers a high school plus program for 7th and 8th grade students. High School plus programs includes a 30 minute presentation which includes an overview of MSU and various types of colleges. In addition to the presentation, students will be able to tour the campus and freshmen housing. Student groups can request the option of dinning on campus in our all-you-can eat buffet style cafeteria, Mesquite Dining Hall for a small fee.
