Campus and Housing Tours
MSU offers daily campus tours for prospective students and their families. Tours are offered Monday-Friday at 10:00am and 2:00pm during the fall and spring semesters and Monday-Thursday at 10:00am and 2:00pm during the summer.
Please be advised of the following blackout dates due to holiday breaks and MSU testing.
- Wednesday, November 25th – Friday, November 27, 2015 (no tours, Thanksgiving break)
- Monday, December 7 – Friday, December 11, 2015 (no tours, MSU finals week)
- Wednesday, December 23, 2015 – Friday, January 1, 2016 (no tours, Winter break)
All tours are led by a member of the A-Team, who are current proud MSU Mustangs and are very knowledgeable about the University. The tours will include visits to academic buildings, freshmen housing, the Clark Student Center, and Redwine Wellness Center and an opportunity to meet with an MSU Admissions Counselor. The tours take approximately 90 minutes so please wear comfortable walking shoes.

High School Groups
Midwestern State University encourages high schools to bring their students to campus for a more in-depth look at the University. High school groups visiting MSU can expect a 30 minute “College 101” presentation facilitated by an admission counselor and a campus tour led by a member of our A-Team student tour group. Groups have the option of eating lunch in our all-you-can-eat buffet style Mesquite Dining Hall for a small additional fee or bringing lunch and enjoying a meal outside on our beautiful campus.
Middle School/Junior High Groups
MSU offers a specialized programming specifically for 7th and 8th grade students. The High School Plus program includes a 30 minute presentation about MSU and other types of colleges and universities. Students will also have the opportunity to enjoy a campus and freshmen housing tour led by one of our A-team tour guides. Groups have the option of eating lunch in our all-you-can-eat buffet style Mesquite Dining Hall for a small additional fee or bringing lunch and enjoying a meal outside on our beautiful campus.

Not sure of what you want to major in? No worry, Mustangs Rally is a great first look at MSU and a great opportunity for you to get a feel for campus life as a MUSTANG! Mustangs Rally is designed to allow prospective high school students and their parents the opportunity to meet with faculty within an academic major. Transfer Day is an exclusive program for transfer students looking to make MSU their university. Transfer Day will allow you to tour campus and housing facilities, learn about MSU student life and activities and have your transcripts reviewed by MSU Admissions.
