Withdrawal & Dropped Course Refund

  • Dropped Course Refunds – If you are dropping a course within the first four class days of a summer term or the first twelve class days of a Fall or Spring term, you are eligible for a refund of applicable tuition and fees for the course dropped.
  • Withdrawal Procedures - If you wish to cancel your registration or withdraw from the university, you will need to notify the Office of the Dean of Students, room 104, Clark Student Center or call (940) 397-6273.

Withdrawal Refund Schedules

Withdrawing from the university constitutes cancelling all classes for a semester.

Spring 2013

Prior to the first class day                              100%                          
During the first 5 class days  80% thru Jan. 17, 2013
During the second 5 class days  70% thru Jan. 24, 2013
During the third 5 class days 50% thru Jan. 30, 2013
During the fourth 5 class days 25% thru Febr. 5, 2013
After the fourth 5 class days 0%


Summer I 2013

Prior to the first class day                            100%                          
During the first 3 class days  80% thru June 5, 2013
During the second 3 class days  50% thru June 11, 2013
After second 3 class days 0%


Summer II 2013

Prior to the first class day                            100%                          
During the first 3 class days  80% thru July 10, 2013
During the second 3 class days  50% thru July 16, 2013
After second 3 class days 0%

Fall 2013

Prior to the first class day                              100%                          
During the first 5 class days  80% thru Aug. 29, 2013
During the second 5 class days  70% thru Sep. 5, 2013
During the third 5 class days 50% thru Sept. 11, 2013
During the fourth 5 class days 25% thru Sept. 17, 2013
After the fourth 5 class days 0%


Dropped Course Refund Schedulesdropping a course(s), but remaining enrolled in another course(s) for the same semester

 
If you are dropping a course within the first four class days of a summer term or the first twelve class days of a fall or spring term, you are eligible for a refund of applicable tuition and fees for the course dropped.  Dropped courses are not the same as a withdrawal.  Dropped course refund percentages apply if you are dropping a course(s) but remain enrolled in other course(s) during the semester.
