» Wellness Center Fall Kickoff The MSU Wellness Programs will showcase many of its group fitness classes, and give tours of the Redwine Wellness Center beginning at 4:30 p.m. Beginning at 6 p.m., free hot dogs and hamburgers will be served and karaoke with Tom Brillhart will begin in the aquatics area. Free T-shirts will be given to the first 100 participants who complete a group fitness class. Aqua pump, spin, Zumba, abs, step and Yoga classes will be offered from 4:30-6:30 p.m. |

» Artist-Lecture Series: Sig Hansen Coming from a long line of Norwegian fisherman, Sig Hansen began fishing at the age of 14, assisting his father developing the King Crab industry in Alaska. While in high school, he served as a deckhand on a salmon gillnetter and worked with his father in the crab fisheries. At the age of 22, he began serving as a relief captain on the family boat, the Northwestern. At 26 he became one of the youngest ever to become a full-time captain. In the nearly two decades since taking over the family ship, Hansen has managed to avoid any major accidents while ensuring that the Northwestern is one of Alaska’s top crab producers. Hansen and the Northwestern crew recently completed the eighth season of the Discovery Channel's Deadliest Catch. |

» Film Series, "Sound of Noise" Sound of Noise (2012), presented by Dr. Ruth Morrow. Swedish comedy, rated R. With subtitles. Police officer Amadeus Warnebring was born into a musical family with a long history of famous musicians. Ironically, he hates music. His life is thrown into chaos when a band of crazy musicians decides to perform a musical apocalypse using the city as their orchestra. Reluctantly, Warnebring embarks on his first musical investigation. It's been called a musical version of Bonnie and Clyde!
