» Golden Key Costume Fun Run
Registration begins at 9 a.m. and race begins at 10 a.m. behind the Wellness Center at Sikes Lake. Race will consist of three laps around the running path. Entry fee is one new or slightly used winter clothing item (hoodie, sweater, coat, sweatshirt, long pants or sweatpants, warm hat and glove combo, thick socks -- no less than four pairs) Clothes will be distributed to various shelters in Wichita Falls after the race.
Wearing a costume is encouraged but not mandatory. Specially designed pumpkins will be given to the first, second and third place finishers in the male and female categories. A pumpkin will be awarded to the runner with the best costume.
