A panel discussion with Jimmie Dale Gilmore, lead singer of the Flatlanders; Jan Reid, author of "The Improbable Rise of Redneck Rock," Abby Abernathy, founder of Archer City's Late Week Lazy Boy Supper Club, and Kathleen Hudson, author of "Women in Texas Music; Stories and Songs" will kick off the annual meeting of the American Studies Association of Texas.
Event continues with research presentations all day Friday and Saturday morning. Gilmore will perform at the museum Friday, November 16, at 7 p.m.
