Let the Career Management Center help you get a jump on your career!
The Career Management Center, located in room 108 of the Clark Student Center, presents several opportunities for you to be introduced and guided through the professional development process using a wide variety of helpful services. Services the center provides focus on preparing you for significant and personally satisfying careers and teaching you how to market yourself effectively to prospective employers. The Career Management Center offers the following programs:

On-line Career Services:
With the MSU MustangsHIRE system, students and alumni can search for full-time, part-time, internship, and volunteer opportunities.  In addition to the thousands of employment openings that exist, students and alumni can use the system to build a resume, cover letter, and brush up on interview techniques.  The system contains a Resource Library area with additional job search tips and search engines to enhance your job search success.  Career Management Center events are highlighted on the events calendar such as upcoming Networking Career Fairs and Employer On-campus Interviews.  Also, you will want to check out the Campus Career Coach section.

Job Search Assistance:
The CMC staff will work one-on-one with you to develop your resume, cover letter, interview, networking, and job search skills.  

Professional Workshops/Seminars:
Specifically designed workshops provide helpful information in areas such as building a winning resume, interviewing skills, workplace ethics, & most importantly, preparation for the "real world." 

On-Campus Interviewing: 
Secure your future by scheduling an on-campus interview with one of the many employers who come to Midwestern to fill their employment needs. 

Graduate/Professional School Assistance:
From Graduate/Professional School Application assistance to Entrance Exam Preparation, the CMC has several programs to help you get ready for and accepted into Graduate/Professional School.

Career and Graduate/Professional School Fairs:
Several fairs are offered each year providing an opportunity to network with employers and graduate/professional school programs from across the country.

Career Enhancement for Graduating Students and Alumni: 
The Career Management Center will facilitate networking and employment opportunities enabling students and alumni to obtain satisfactory employment.
