Allen Wier, distinguished author and University of Tennessee at Knoxville English professor. Wier is the author of several novels with Southwestern settings.

His new book "Tehano" has been called by advance reviews "a novel of Tolstoyan scope and Dickensian exuberance." Set in in varying stages of the Civil War and in the Texas of the Comanche Indian wars, "Tehano" is epic in scope, masterful in presentation. Come hear Allen Wier talk about and read from "Tehano."
