• "RECONSIDERING THE MYTH OF 'GOOD GUYS IN WHITE HATS" Dr. Michael L. Collins, Regents Professor and Hardin Distinguished Professor of American History, will present a program titled, "Reconsidering the Myth of 'Good Guys in White Hats,'" based on his recently published book, Texas Devils: Rangers and Regulars on the Lower Rio Grande, 1846-1861.
Dr. Collins is also the author or editor of five other books, including That Damned Cowboy: Theodore Roosevelt and the American West, 1883-1898, Tales of Texoma: Episodes in the History of the Red River Border, and Profiles in Power: Twentieth Century Texans in Washington.
