The Center for Continuing Education at MSU in Wichita Falls, TX offers web-based courses in partnership with  www.Gatlineducation.com . Online Career Training Courses - these are career-focused online courses designed to give you the latest in learning, and to provide the skills necessary to acquire professional caliber positions in many in-demand occupations.

With a computer and a connection to the Internet, you can complete any of the following certificates in less than three to six months in the comfort of your own home. These courses are available for immediate registration and you can complete them, self-paced, from any Web enabled computer.

Gatlin Education Services (GES) is the world's largest and most successful provider of asynchronous online career training courses. GES works in partnership with non-credit units at major colleges and universities nationwide. The GES courses are self-paced, expertly instructed, and deliver the e-learning experiences that equip students with the skills that are in high demand today!

What to expect:

Students begin when they wish.

Students are assigned an instructor for one-on-one assistance.

Student work is evaluated and a 70% is required for a certificate.

Students should complete most courses within 6-months, but may
request an additional 6-month extension if needed.

Students will receive a certificate upon successful completion.

 

Gatlin Education Services – Financial Assistance Information

 

Students currently have two options for obtaining financial assistance to help with the tuition of GES programs. The first and most popular option for financial assistance is the Gatlin Loan Program.
Here's how the process works:

  • Students can apply for the Gatlin Loan online at www.collegeloanapplication.com.
  • If they are approved, the student will receive a loan contract via email from TFC, the finance institution.
  • The student will need to sign the contract and return it with a $300 deposit to TFC.
  • Once TFC receives the student's signed contract and their deposit, TFC will notify GES.
  • GES will then process the student's registration. GES will notify the school when a loan student has registered. GES will provide the student's personal information, so the school can process the student's registration on their end.
  • GES will contact the student directly with their course log-in information and ship the materials directly to the student.
  • After GES has sent the school the student's registration information, GES will send a check to the school for the exact amount that the school adds to the cost of the specific GES program the student has registered for.
  • The student will then pay off the balance of their loan directly to TFC over a period of 12 months while they are completing their program.



These certificate programs are non-credit and are designed to provide the skills necessary to acquire professional-caliber positions for many in-demand occupations, most within a three-month delivery window and at a more-than-reasonable cost to students.
