The Center for Continuing Educationís Foreign/Independent Film Series and John Dement present the 1922 silent film classic Nosferatu at 7 p.m. on October 15 at the Wichita Falls Museum of Art at MSU. The film was an unauthorized adaptation of Bram Stokerís Dracula, with names and other details changed because the studio could not obtain the rights to the novel. Stokerís heirs sued over the adaptation and a court ruling ordered that all copies of the film be destroyed. However, one print of Nosferatu survived and the film came to be regarded as an influential masterpiece of cinema. This film has no rating. Admission is free with donations welcome. Call (940) 397-4756 for more information.
