Re-opened in the Fall of 2004 after a complete renovation, Killingsworth Hall is the largest residence hall on campus. Killingsworth is a six-story, 301 bed exclusively female hall located adjacent to the Clark Student Center.
Features of this hall include television and study lounges on every floor, two full sized kitchens, multiple laundry facilities, fitness room, chapel and several group study rooms accompanied by multiple independent study carrels.
Resident rooms will include nice furniture, carpet and amenities such as Micro Fridge units, vanity with sink, cable and phone hookups for each resident (including voice mail) and ethernet services.
Killingsworth Hall also features private bathrooms as opposed to traditional community washrooms for added privacy and comfort. The Office of Housing and Residence Life employs one staff member for every 25 residents in Killingsworth Hall to assure a safe, comfortable and involving living environment.
The service desk located in the hall provides 24-hour access for checking-out games, equipment, cleaning supplies, providing maintenance request forms, and other services which the resident student may require. Free copies of USA Today, The Dallas Morning News, and The Wichita Falls Times-Record News are available in the Hall lobby each weekday morning.
