The Human Resources Department is responsible for wage and salary administration, pay plan classification, recruitment and employment, personnel policies, employee relations, equal employment opportunity and affirmative action, new employee orientation, employee training and development, employee benefits administration, and personnel records.

The mission of the Human Resources Department is to support the vision, goals and challenges of Midwestern State University by providing services which promote a work environment characterized by fair treatment of employees, open communications, personal empowerment, accountability, trust and mutual respect.

What's New

EPAF Go-Live - Temporary Employees

Beginning October 1, you may hire Temporary Employees via the Electronic Personnel Action Form (EPAF) rather than the paper PTF. If you would like assistance during this transition or have any questions concerning EPAFs, the Banner Training room (Hardin 212) will be open during the dates/times shown below with someone from Human Resources or Payroll available. These sessions are come and go; please attend as many as you would like.


Tuesday, October 7 from 9:00am -11:00am & 2:00pm-4:00pm

Wednesday, October 8 from 9:am -11:00am

The President’s Staff Awards and Annual Pinning Luncheon will be held Wednesday, October 15, 2014, at 12:00 (noon), in Comanche Suites of Clark Student Center. All faculty and staff invited or nominated are encouraged to email or call Courtney Grimes, x4207 as to your attendance no later than Friday, October 3.
