Mission
Collects, organizes, maintains, analyzes, and interprets statistical institutional data for use by the management of the university as well as for external agencies involved in the planning, policy formulation, decision making, and administration of institutes of higher education.
Provides timely, accurate, and unbiased data to be of use in the development of an information management system for purposes of meaningful display of institutional data throughout the university.
Provides resources as necessary in support of University Strategic Planning and Assessment initiatives.
Goals
Scope
The Office of Institutional Research, Planning, and Assessment is an integral part of the university’s research, planning, and evaluation process. It supports the university’s mission through effective collection, analysis, and dissemination of data on all facets of the university. Finally, it provides not only historical data but also projections whenever deemed appropriate by the administration.
