The final grade for the course will be based on the exam scores, an average of the scores earned on the homework assignments, and attendance/attitude. The lowest homework score will be dropped. All AutoCAD assignments must follow the format (Title Block) detailed in class.
Late assignments are accepted only with instructor permission.
Attendance is taken at the discretion of the instructor; students are responsible for all notes/assignments given/collected on the particular date.
Course Format
This course consists of two 170-minute sessions per week. Typically a session will begin with a brief lecture that covers the relevant topics and demonstrations for that particular class. Following this lecture, class time will be used to complete drawings associated with that topic. On some occasions it may not be possible to complete these drawings during the scheduled sessions. In that case it is the student’s responsibility to dedicate time in the lab apart from the class session to complete the drawings.
