MWF 3:00 - 3:50 PM
1) Given a relevant problem, students will specify the rectilinear motion of a particle.
2) Given a relevant problem, students will specify curvilinear motion of particles in multiple coordinate systems.
3) Given a relevant problem, students will specify particle equations of motion.
4) Given a relevant problem, students will specify particle equations of motion.
5) Given a relevant problem, students will specify work-energy relationships for particles, systems of particles, and rigid bodies.
6) Given a relevant problem, students will specify impulse-momentum relationships for particles, systems of particles, and rigid bodies.
The final grade for the course will be based on the exam scores, quiz scores, and the homework assignment scores. The lowest homework and quiz scores will be dropped. Exams I and II contribute 20% of the course grade, the final exam contributes 30%, assignments contribute 25% of the course grade, and attendance/attitude contributes 5% of the course grade.
Homework assignments must be turned in on the due date, at the beginning of class. Once class starts, late assignments will be accepted only at the discretion of the instructor.
Attendance will be taken at the discretion of the instructor. The student is responsible for all material covered and assignments assigned/due during a missed class.
