Description: This course focuses on the family life cycle and family development. Different theories regarding improvement of family functioning are covered such as structural, problem solving, communication, solution focused, and intergenerational systems theory. Specific attention to the effects of drugs and alcohol on the family are addressed in each module and especially in the textbook.

Three (3) exams will be taken on the internet. Each question on each test will be worth one point. The points will be converted to a percentage grade for each exam.
A=90% of the cumulative possible percentage points from all 3 exams
0-179=F=less than 60% of the cumulative possible points from all 3 exams
Students will have several within which to take each exam. The time allowed to complete the exam will be listed for each exam under the exam icon. Once you start the exam you must complete it in one sitting. You cannot continue to log on and off to complete the exam.
. Your exam grade will be lowered 5% for taking an exam later than the scheduled time.
