Assessments
Students are required to submit a portfolio (paper or electronic) that contains the following components:
A summary page for each activity that addresses the learning outcomes along with any other insights or knowledge gained from each activity.
Calendar
Specific class deadlines will be discussed via e-mail. I would like to have your plan of action by the end of the first week of class.
Assignments
The assignments for this course involve the candidate developing a plan of action with instructor that details the professional development activity(s) the candidate will participate in during the semester that will allow the student t specific to the candidate’s career goals. The total time for the practicum should equal 90 hours. Students seeking certification as an educational diagnostician will engage in supervised activities with a certified diagnostician.
Grading Procedures
Each of the 90 practicum hours must be approved by me. All three components must be included in the portfolio to receive credit.
