MTRF 2:30-4:40 PM
1)
Given a single mechanical component, students will apply basic modeling techniques to create a 3D engineering drawing.
2)
Given a single mechanical component, students will construct a parametric model that contains geometric and numerical characteristics of the component.
3)
Given a complex mechanical system, students will create individual component models and combine them as an assembly model.
4)
Given a problem involving vector quantities, students will use SolidWorks to analyze and express the solution.
5)
MENG 1133: Engineering Graphics
The final grade for the course will be based on the homework assignment scores and the exam scores. The scores on the homework assignments will be combined and the result converted to the 100-point scale. The scores on the exams will be combined and the result converted to the 100-point scale. The overall average score (X) for the course is determined as follows:
X = [.8•(homework assignment average) + .2• (exam score average)].
Homework assignments must be turned in on the due date, at the beginning of class. Late assignments will be accepted only at the discretion of the instructor.
You are expected to attend class regularly and are responsible for notes and homework assignments missed while absent.
