The quizzes/presentations/group work will count as 15% of the final grade. Also, there will also be three In-class Exams which will each count as 20% of the final grade. Finally, there will be a cumulative Final Exam which will count as 25% of the final grade.
Letter Grades: The final letter grades will be determined by the following scale:
A --- 90% and above
B --- 80% - 89%
C --- 70% - 79%
D --- 60% - 69%
F --- 59% and below
Make-ups for exams and quizzes will only be allowed for a university approved excuse in writing. Wherever possible, students should inform the instructor before an exam or quiz is missed.
