Course Description: This course is designed to give you the basic understanding of and appreciation for strength training as well as for cardiovascular fitness. Also:
1. To become knowledgeable in the areas of weight training
2. To develop and implement an individualized lifting program
3. To make progress through keeping charts and measurements throughout course
4. To make progress in personal fitness, both mentally and physically
5. To have fun
Dress Code: Students well dress in the proper workout attire each day unless otherwise notified. Proper dress will include a T-shirt or sweat shirt, shorts or sweats and tennis shoes. Not wearing the proper clothing will result in the lowering of your participation grade.
Grading Policy: Participation/Attendance 300 points

Attendance: There will be 5 points deducted from your participation grade for unexcused absences. Every two tardies will be treated as an absence.
