An annotated bibliography is a list of citations to peer reviewed articles, and documents. Each citation is followed by a brief (usually about 150 words) descriptive and evaluative paragraph, the annotation. The purpose of the annotation is to inform the reader of the relevance, accuracy, and quality of the sources cited. Creating an annotated bibliography calls for the application of a variety of intellectual skills: concise exposition, succinct analysis, and informed library research. An example of a good annotated bibliography can be found in the assignment or a course related bibliography can be found on the home page of this course.First, locate and record citations to 3 articles in SCHOLARLY journalsthat contain information that is relevant to this course (ionizing radition, biological effects, etc.). Cite the peer reviewed journal article, or document using the APA style. Provide an appropriate APA formatted title page.
Note: Once the assignment has been completed, the student will submit the assignment via the assignment link located on the left side of the course homepage.
In addition to the example found in the assignment, there is course related example located on the course content of the home page.
