ASSIGNMENTS
Assignments (200 pts)
Two written assignments are designed to give students the opportunity to apply concepts and strategies for teaching health education that are appropriate for elementary and middle school students. Each assignment is worth 100 points.
Quizzes (110 pts)
Four quizzes comprised of multiple-choice questions were created to assess learning of specific content. The quizzes are worth 30, 30, 30, and 20 pts respectively.

A 279-310 pts 90%
B 248-278 pts 80%
C 217-247 pts 70%
F < 217 pts
PROFESSIONAL EXPECTATIONS
Students are expected to behave academically, interpersonally, professionally, and collaboratively in a manner consistent with standards set by the West College of Education. Students failing to meet these standards will receive a verbal warning. Failure to demonstrate a change in behavior will result in a written warning documenting the unacceptable behavior. Students will be required to meet with a faculty committee as outlined by current WCOE policies and procedures. Fitness Alert documents are located on the course Blackboard Home Page.
