Teach: basic badminton strokes, scoring for singles and doubles, rules and etiquette, history, terminology, strategy for singles and doubles.,
Provide an environment for physical activity, develop an appreciation of badminton as a lifetime sport
Participate in all tournaments and skills test.
Various written quizzes and test during the semester.
Attendance is mandatory since participation is the major area for grading.
50% individual and doubles tournaments
25% Skill Test for serving and basic strokes
25% Quizzes and test
Attendance: Student absences will be excused for five reasons.
1. Participation in an activity appearing on University authorized activity list or schedule.
2. Death or illness in a students immediate family.
3. Participation in legal proceedings that require a student's presence.
4. Religious holy day.
5. Confinement due to illness. (Requires Health Center or Physician's validation)
