Class will run later during student presentations if necessary.
1. Preparation for job seeking: resume, interviewing, etc.
2. Research, develop and present a presentation on a contemporary computing topic.
3. Demonstrate effective use of PowerPoint for effective presentations.
4. Demonstrate a knowledge of contemporary topics in computing.
Students will attend and present at the North Texas Area Student Conference on Saturday, April 18. Failure to do so will result in failking the course.
Each student begins with 100 points. Points are deducted for each missing assignment (up to 10 points) or inadequate/late assignment (up to 5 points). Students are required to present at the North Texas Area Student Conference held April 18 at MSU to pass the course. Points are also deducted for absences and tardiness.
Format for work will be designated when each assignment is made.
Late work is accepted but points will be deducted from the grade.
Attendance is mandatory. Five points will be deducted off the final grade for each absence. One point will be deducted for each tardy. See instructor for possile make-up work for absences.
