Unit Examinations (8) 30%
Labs & Assignments (6) *40%
Final Projects (2) 30%
The grading scale will be:
90 - 100 = A 80 - 89 = B 75 -79= C 60 - 74 = D < 60= F
Because everyone will be on a different clinical rotation, it would be impossible for me to set firm due dates for each Lab &/or Unit Exam. You are required to complete 50% of all required course work (excluding Final Projects) by mid-semester. This basically means any combination of 7 Labs & Unit Exams (1 & 6, 2 & 5, 3 &4, 4 & 3, 5 & 2, 6 & 1). What combination you submit will depend on your rotations & personal preference. A grade reduction of 10% will be accessed to each item you are short. If you only submit 5 items by mid-semester, your next two submissions will be penalized 10% each.
All course work (including Final Projects) are due by date posted on the course calendar. Any course work that misses the posted due date or deadline will not be graded and a grade of zero (0) will be recorded.
No attendance policy is required. This is an on-line course.
Academic dishonesty (cheating, plagiarism, etc.) will not be tolerated in this class and may result in suspension or dismissal from this course and from the program. Cases will also be referred to the Dean of Students for possible dismissal from the university.

Cheating includes, but is not limited to, (1) use of any unauthorized assistance in taking quizzes, tests, or examinations; (2) dependence upon the aid of sources beyond those authorized by the instructor in writing papers, preparing reports, solving problems, or completing other assignments; or (3) the acquisition of tests or other academic materials belonging to the university faculty or staff without permission.
Plagiarism includes, but is not limited to, the use of, by paraphrase or direct quotation without correct recognition, the published or unpublished works of another person. The use of materials generated by agencies engaged in "selling" term papers is also plagiarism.
Participation All students are expected to fully participate in all class activities, including lectures and discussions, demonstrations, presentations, small-group projects, and collaborative learning activities.
Professionalism At all times, students are expected to conduct themselves in a professional manner. Professionalism includes establishing positive relationships and interactions with peers, colleagues, and faculty; attending respectfully to others who are sharing information with the class; being flexible to unforeseen changes in schedules and assignments.
