Research and Publications

At Midwestern State  - I have designed and supervised  over 150 productions with a score of directors.  Productions ranging from Hamlet to Waiting for Godot were staged on thrust, proscenium,  arena, outdoor and experimental spaces. 
Have designed large musicals like Hello Dolly!, Carousel,
and Mame, children’s plays, graduate thesis productions,
touring shows, pageants and original scripts.  Several of my
designs have advanced to the regional level of ACTF and
one went on to play at the Kennedy Center in Washingto
D.C. where it won the AMOCO Award of Excellence.

Lighting Consultant – Several elementary and secondary school plants,
City of Wichita Falls outdoor sculpture and architecture. Have served as a lighting consultant on churches and the Kemp Center.


 Scenic Artist – Summerfest of Birmingham Alabama on Oklahoma and
 Bye Bye Birdie!, Oakie Girls Television, Wichita Falls Museum and
 Art Center, Wichita Falls Ballet, Women’s Forum, United Regional
 Health Care, Burkburnett ISD, Children’s Miracle Network, various
 nightclubs and many charities.

Scenic Designer – University of Nebraska, Suzannah, Summerfest in 
 Birmingham, Hello Dolly!, West Texas A & M, Pirates of Penzance. 
 Graham Regional Theatre, The Wizard of Oz.  Guys and Dolls.


Designer and Fabricator – MSU2, three TV settings, acoustic concert
shell for Akin Auditorium. MSU Burns Fantasy of Lights, six
 outdoor fiberglass animated displays with sound and lighting: The
 Three Little Pigs, The Nativity, Cinderella, Peter Pan,
 The Christmas Carol.  and Santa's Workshop.
