InterestsMy scientific area of specialization is infectious disease/epidemiology with an emphasis on virology. I also have a subspecialty in biological terrorism and bioethics. My historical area of specialization is the history of science with an emphasis on the early modern period and the beginnings of modern science, particularly the changing nature of man's understanding of disease. My current work is looking at the history of yellow fever since its introduction into the New World. |
