Medical College Admission Test


Beginning with January 2007, the MCAT will be delivered exclusively at Prometric computer-based testing sites.  Visit the MCAT website for more information.

  1. What is the MCAT and when is it administered?
    The Computerized Medical College Admission Test will be administered 22 times per year to students seeking admission into medical school.  Morning and afternoon sessions will be available on weekdays and Saturdays.  Test results are used to predict which students will be successful in medical school.
  2. How much does the MCAT cost?
    The MCAT costs $270.
  3. How long does the MCAT take and when is my score report sent back?
    The computerized MCAT test day will be about half as long as the previous paper-pencil test administration test day.  The score report is sent back within 30 days of the examination date.
