The TLRC strives to achieve many goals on campus ranging from providing communication enhancements among faculty and between faculty and students to molding and supporting life-long learners.

To this end, the TLRC sponsors many events throughout the academic year and maintains a library in Bridwell 101 that is full of valuable teaching resource books.

Books in the collection include: How College Affects Students by Ernest Pascarella and Patrick Terenzini;
Student Engagement Techniques: A Handbook for College Faculty by Elizabeth Barkley;
and Beyond the Ivory Tower: Social Responsibilities of the Modern University by Derek Bok.
