Friday, September 23 - Sunday, September 25, 2016 — Join your MSU student for a weekend of fun and college memories! This year's program will feature a variety of activities and events on the MSU Campus and at Memorial Stadium.
Unwind from a day of travel with an evening in the quad watching The Secret life of Pets.
10-11:30 a.m. — Residence Hall Lobbies
Start your Family Day 2015 off right! Meet up with your student in their residence hall to enjoy some light refreshments and a chance to connect with the Midwestern State University Residence Life staff.
12-3 p.m. — MSU Campus Quadrangle
For students and families registered for Family Day, you may pick up your complimentary athletic tickets at the check-in tent and the first 1,000 registered attendees will receive a hot dog fries/chips provided by the famous MSU Kiowa Kooks! Food will also be available for purchase.
3-4 p.m. — MSU Campus Quadrangle
Join MSU faculty & administrators for an ice cream reception with all of the toppings.
12-4 p.m. — MSU Campus Quadrangle
Get your picture taken, meet Maverick T. Mustang, or jump on the many inflatables. Entertainment will be provided by DJ Joe Franco.
4-5 p.m. — MSU Campus Akin Auditorium
Join the family for the fabulous solo circus with special guest Michael Dubois.
1-5 p.m. — Moffett Library
Bring your family to take a look at the Nolan A. Moore III Heritage of Print Collection at Moffett Library during MSU’s Family Day! This fascinating collection features humanity’s attempts at written communication through history, and includes a clay tablet from Sumerian, papyrus fragments from Egypt, hand-crafted illuminated manuscripts, pages from the Gutenberg Bible, an original wooden printing press, a copy of Shakespeare’s Second Folio, documents from the American and French revolutions and the Civil War, rare newspapers, comic books and more. 5-7 p.m. — Memorial Stadium
Come and tailgate with your student and enjoy some pre-game fun with inflatables and giveaways.
7 p.m. — Memorial Stadium
Cheer on the MSU Football team as they battle Oklahoma Panhandle State. Complimentary tickets available with your Family Day registration. Remaining tickets not picked up will be forfeited at 6:30 p.m.
8-12 p.m. — Mesquite Dining Hall
Join your Mustangs for the 1st Annual Family Weekend Brunch in the Mesquite Dining Hall. Cost is $8 at the door.
